We are currently accommodating 89 children. Our home provides the physical, social, mental, and spiritual needs of a child. The number of children in need is abundant from poverty, homelessness, and abandonment. Uganda's HIV/AIDS pandemic contributes to the high number of orphans we support. Uganda has one of the highest rates in the world for orphaned children through AIDS-related deaths. The majority of kids that come to us are malnourished from only eating one meal a day. Over 41% of the Ugandan population is undernourished. Our funds go to providing three meals a day to every child. |

The goal of our Vocational School is to build self-reliant and self-sustainable individuals in order to reduce poverty in the communities. Vocational Training Courses:
The costs of high school (Secondary School) are very high, causing large amounts of young adults to have no education or training for a future career. A diploma does not always provide job security, but teaching a child multiple trades will always be beneficial- especially in the type of economy that Uganda has. |

A few reasons children are kept from accessing education are discrimination, lack of school fees & materials. We believe that every child has a right to education. We not only offer free education to the children that call JCM home, but also to those in the community who cannot afford school. More than 180 children have benefitted from our school. Our study center has nine classes from preschool through middle school. JCM’s main focus is education- for that is where a community succeeds. |

We believe in the importance of the Word of God. We offer evening fellowship daily, Bible study on Friday, and church services Sunday. Not only do we offer these just to those that call JCM home, but to the commuting students and the community as well. This fellowship has helped to positively change many children's lives. |
